When I tell people about SPBXB they say “wow, you must meet a lot of people on your walks”. Truth be told, no. Usually there aren’t people on the streets for me to meet. Plus I’m totally shy and awkward so I usually just smile as I pass people and hope they don’t yell at me for taking pictures of their crazy looking garden gnome. But then I thought about it, I’m missing out on a bigger part of San Pedro if I don’t show you some people. So I approached Jessica and her dog Riley on today’s walk. I was SO awkward – I didn’t say I was gonna be good at featuring people. I walked up and asked her if I could take a picture of her washing her dog because I thought it would be a cute candid shot. She probably thought I was some weirdo dog washing fetishist or something. So Jessica, if you’re reading this, I promise you that I am just socially awkward and not a freak. Thank you for being nice and obliging my request.
Here is a picture of a statuette in Jessica’s yard that lost it’s head on Halloween. Trick indeed.
